This installation involved fully cladding the existing storefront in 3mm aluminium with a milled finish. The cladding was fabricated to cover the full storefront elevation, including the sections surrounding the display openings, vertical divisions and areas around the existing architectural features.
The aluminium panels were manufactured to suit the individual sections of the storefront and installed on site, with careful attention given to the alignment and continuity between each panel. The installation required the cladding to follow the existing structure while maintaining consistent joints and transitions across the full frontage.
The completed installation covers the storefront from floor level through to the upper sections, creating a continuous aluminium skin across the existing façade. The milled finish was retained across the installed panels, giving the aluminium its characteristic textured surface while providing a durable finish suitable for a high-traffic retail environment.
