The manufacturing process began with 3mm thick Grade 304 stainless steel, which was measured and cut into the required shapes for the two custom plaques. Each piece was carefully prepared to ensure clean edges and accurate dimensions.

Once cut, M6 Reddi Bar studs were welded onto the back of the plaques. These studs were positioned to provide secure anchoring points for installation, while M6 nuts were used as spacers to create a clean stand-off between the plaques and the wall.

The faces of the plaques were then polished to achieve a high-quality mirror finish. Once the polishing was complete, the custom artwork supplied by the client was etched directly into the stainless steel surface. The etched sections were then filled, giving the artwork definition against the reflective stainless steel.

With the fabrication and finishing complete, the plaques were prepared for installation. The positions were carefully marked out on site before the welded studs were used to anchor each plaque securely to the wall. The M6 spacers created a consistent separation from the wall while ensuring both plaques were correctly aligned.

The finished installation combines mirror-polished Grade 304 stainless steel with custom etched and filled artwork, creating a highly finished set of bespoke plaques designed specifically for the client.
