The Old School Stool takes a familiar schoolhouse form and reinterprets it through stainless steel, combining simple geometry with considered fabrication.

The manufacturing process begins with 304-grade stainless steel, which is measured and cut according to the stool’s required dimensions. The tubular components are then formed to create the clean, curved structure of the base, with each section carefully aligned before being welded together.

Once the frame has been fabricated, the welds are dressed and refined to create a seamless appearance across the structure. The softly rounded seat is then formed and prepared before being integrated with the stainless steel frame.

The completed stool is finished with a brushed surface, creating a consistent texture that highlights the natural character of the stainless steel while giving the piece its understated, industrial aesthetic.

Measuring 490mm in diameter and 600mm high, the Old School Stool is designed to be compact, functional and versatile, a simple piece of fabrication that carries plenty of character.
