Off White
The Off-White Wassily Chair is fabricated entirely in-house, combining skilled metal fabrication with handcrafted leather upholstery.
The process begins with solid round bar, which is measured, cut and formed to create the chair’s distinctive tubular-inspired frame. Each section is carefully shaped to achieve the sweeping curves and geometric proportions of the design before being positioned and welded together.
Once the frame is fully assembled, every weld is cleaned and refined before the stainless steel undergoes our in-house polishing process. The entire frame is brought to a mirror finish, creating the highly reflective surface that defines the chair and enhances its sculptural form.
The leather components are then produced by our in-house upholsterer. Genuine chocolate brown leather is carefully measured, cut and fitted across the seat, backrest and arm sections, following the structure of the frame while maintaining the clean, tailored appearance of the design.
The final stage brings the metalwork and upholstery together, with each leather section securely fitted to the frame and the finished chair inspected to ensure that the proportions, finish and detailing meet our standards.
