Nish - Kitchen Countertop

This installation involved the fabrication and installation of a custom L-shaped kitchen countertop manufactured from 3mm thick, 304-grade stainless steel with a brushed finish. The countertop was fabricated to follow the existing kitchen layout, forming a continuous surface across both sections of the L-shaped configuration.
A key feature of the installation is the integrated stainless steel sink, which was incorporated directly into the countertop as part of the fabrication rather than installed as a separate unit. The sink and countertop were manufactured to work together as one continuous stainless steel surface, with the necessary cut-outs and detailing completed during fabrication.
The countertop was fitted over the existing cabinetry, with the stainless steel formed to accommodate the kitchen appliances, sink area and surrounding walls. Particular attention was given to the corners and transitions of the L-shape to ensure the two runs connected correctly and the countertop followed the existing footprint of the kitchen.
The final installation provides a full stainless steel work surface with the sink incorporated into the same material and finish. The brushed 304-grade stainless steel provides a hard-wearing surface suited to everyday kitchen use while allowing the countertop and sink to be cleaned and maintained as a single surface.
