Fishmonger - Bacco Lettering

The installation at Fishmonger in Newlands began with a set of custom laser-cut mild steel letters, each carefully cut to achieve the clean, defined forms required for the finished signage.
Once cut, the lettering was powder coated in a matte black finish, giving the signage a durable surface and a bold, understated appearance. To prepare the letters for installation, studs were welded onto the back of each piece, creating secure anchor points for fixing them to the wall.
On site, the position of each letter was carefully marked out to ensure consistent spacing and alignment. An adhesive was then applied to the fixing points, allowing the welded studs to anchor the lettering securely into the wall while keeping the installation clean and visually minimal.
With every letter positioned and secured, the installation was completed, leaving Fishmonger Newlands with a crisp, custom-fabricated signage installation designed and produced in-house.
