Bathroom Signage

For Fishmonger, we fabricated a set of custom bathroom signs designed to provide a simple, understated wayfinding detail while complementing the existing interior. The male and female symbols were laser cut from 5mm thick mild steel, with each sign measuring 170mm × 80mm.

Once cut, welded studs were added to the rear of each sign to allow for a clean, concealed installation. The pieces were then powder coated in a matte black finish, giving them a durable surface and the crisp, graphic appearance required for the space.

With the fabrication and finishing complete, the signs were installed on site, with the fixing system keeping the focus on the clean form of the symbols rather than the hardware behind them.
