The manufacturing process of our back-to-back door handle begins with 304 Grade stainless steel round tube. The 20mm diameter tube is cut to the required 700mm length, while the 25mm diameter round tube is prepared to form the mounting spigots.

Once cut, each component is carefully prepared and cleaned before fabrication. The handle and spigots are positioned to ensure a balanced, symmetrical finish and then welded together to create a strong, secure connection.

After welding, the joins are ground and blended, removing any visible fabrication marks and creating a smooth transition between the components. This stage is particularly important as the handle is finished in a mirror polish, meaning the surface needs to be clean and consistent before polishing begins.

The stainless steel is then progressively polished until the desired mirror finish is achieved. The reflective surface brings out the simplicity of the cylindrical form while giving the handle a refined, high-end appearance.

Once polished, the two handles are assembled as a back-to-back set, carefully checked for alignment and inspected for consistency across the entire finish.

From cutting and welding through to grinding, polishing and final assembly, every stage is carried out in-house to create a door handle that is as considered in its construction as it is in its design.
