Sugar Holder

For Café Sofi, we fabricated a set of custom stainless steel sugar holders designed specifically for the restaurant’s table setting. The brief called for a simple, durable piece that would complement the space while remaining practical for everyday use.

The fabrication began with stainless steel sheet, which was accurately cut to size before being formed into the required shape. The sheet was then carefully bent to create the base and sides of each holder, producing the clean rectangular form without adding unnecessary elements or visual detailing.

Once the bending was complete, the edges and surfaces were cleaned up to remove any marks from the fabrication process. Each holder was then brushed across the stainless steel to create a consistent matte satin finish, giving the pieces a softer, understated appearance while maintaining the durability of stainless steel.

The finished sugar holders were fabricated as functional pieces for Café Sofi’s tables, combining straightforward fabrication with a clean finish that integrates naturally into the restaurant environment.
