Stumped - Jumbo Dining Table

The Stumped - Jumbo dining table was manufactured from 304 Grade stainless steel, consisting of a 6mm thick circular tabletop supported by a substantial stainless steel tubular base.
The process began with the 6mm thick stainless steel sheet being cut to a 1.3m diameter to form the circular tabletop. The heavy-gauge material was prepared and finished to ensure the tabletop remained flat and consistent throughout the fabrication process.
The base was manufactured separately using stainless steel tubing, forming the cylindrical support measuring approximately 500mm in diameter and 750mm high. The tubular construction provided the required structure and proportions for the base.
Once the base was prepared, the circular tabletop was positioned centrally on top of the tubular support. The tabletop was then welded directly to the base, creating a secure connection between the two components. The weld was worked back and blended as required before the final finishing process.
The completed table was then prepared for its brushed stainless steel finish, with the surface worked consistently across the tabletop and tubular base. Final checks were carried out to ensure the table was level, stable and correctly aligned.
