The Just Lifted Vase begins with a sheet of Grade 304 stainless steel, spun to form the upper bowl and achieve its rounded profile. The base is fabricated separately by rolling stainless steel sheeting into the required cone shape, carefully forming the taper before preparing it for assembly.

Once the two components are aligned, the base is welded to the spun bowl, creating a secure connection between the upper and lower sections. The welded areas are then cleaned and prepared before the finishing process begins.

The final stage is the mirror finishing, where the stainless steel is progressively polished to create a highly reflective surface across the entire vase. The result is a simple, sculptural form that catches and reflects its surroundings.
