Basic Unit

The Basic Unit begins with Grade 304 stainless steel sheet, with the 2mm body panels, top, bottom and drawer fronts cut to size. The panels are then formed and assembled to create the main cabinet structure, with the top and bottom secured to the body to establish the overall frame.

The three drawer bodies are fabricated separately from 1.5mm stainless steel sheet, formed and assembled to create the internal storage compartments. The 2mm drawer fronts are then fitted to the drawer bodies, with Blum push-to-open runners installed to provide smooth, handle-free operation.

Once the cabinet and drawers are assembled, the 50mm swivel castors with brakes are fitted to the base, allowing the unit to be moved easily while remaining securely positioned when required.

The final stage is the brushed finish. All exposed stainless steel surfaces are prepared and brushed consistently to create an even finish across the body, top and drawer fronts, completing the clean, functional construction of the Basic Unit.
